Costa Rica 2019

Since 2014 I have made a yearly trek to Costa Rica to study tropical plant biology. My trip in 2019 was a bit different—funded in part by The American Society of Plant Taxonomists, I was able to travel to Costa Rica to study population of Isoëtes storkii. This species is found scattered throughout the country from low to high elevations, and I was interested in investigating the genetics of these various populations.
