Panama 2020

We were lucky enough to get out into the field right before the COVID-19 pandemic shut down the world. With a group of talented Panamanian and North American botanists we descended into the wet tropics with our collecting gear. In a rapid 11-day collection trip we documented the diversity of ferns and lycophytes in the ever-wet lowlands of the Mamoní Valley Preserve. We were able to collect almost 200 species of ferns including new records and hybrids. Check out more details about this trip here.
